Missionaries Micheal & Lynette Joseph have used the Christmas Joy Gift Bags for the past 3 years to effectively minister to children. The bags were a great tool as they started a new children’s Sunday School class. Around 70 children came to the special joy bag service. They kept coming and many have been saved as a result. God is using the Joseph family to reach Papua New Guineans who are gripped by the fears of tribal warfare and animism. Praise the Lord that his Word changes lives and lost souls have been freed from the bondage of sin!
Note: As this post was being written, I heard from Paul & Pedro who are driving our van to Mexico. They will hopefully arrive on Saturday for a special service in Saltillo. Missionary Chris Lanier is going to officially organize the church he planted there. But at the moment, they are broke down on the side of the interstate in Arkanas. It may be an issue with the timing belt. Pray the repairs go quickly and that it will not be costly.
Update 9/23/16: Repairs were made and their trip is back on track!
