Food drives are always a help and encouragement to those in orphanages, Christian schools and churches in poverty-stricken areas.

During one of our trips to Mexico my wife and I were visiting an orphanage outside of the city of Monterrey. The missionary and his wife started the orphanage in their home. My wife noticed that they had very little food for the children. After returning from the trip we started a Food Drive and collected 4,000 lbs. of food. The missionary, his wife and the children were thrilled to received the food. There are many poverty-stricken areas where Food Drives are always needed and a tremendous encouragement to the Christians.
