As the ministry grows so does the need for additional monthly support. Our warehouse stays full of materials. Please pray about partnering with us to get these materials to Mexico, Honduras, Philippines, Africa and other countries. Please ask God what He would have you do. We need your help in making a difference for eternity.

Personal Support is Needed

As the cost of living increases so does the financial need of each missionary working with DirectLine Ministry.

Funds Are Needed To Pay Off Property in Saltillo, Mexico

Financial_Support2

The Lord has opened the door for us to purchase property in Saltillo, MX. A missionary friend had started several churches and a Bible college in Saltillo. After the Lord chose to take him home to heaven four years ago, the school discontinued and the buildings were left vacant. The missionary's wife agreed to sell us the property for what they put into it of their own personal money. Because most of the buildings were built with ministry money given by churches in the States, the missionary's wife agreed to sell us the property for what she and her husband put into it of their own personal money. The lot is completely enclosed with a brick and block wall. The house is located in the front of the lot. It has three bedrooms with three baths. In the back of the lot is a two story building that has four apartments, cafeteria, and library. The right side of the lot is a building that has four single room apartments. A building with four unfinished rooms are on the left side of the lot. The center of the lot has an educational building with seven class rooms and a chapel. Also, between the house and the educational building is a very large concrete patio for recreation. The front, right-hand portion of the property in empty, but would be ideal for a material warehouse in the future. Financial_Support3 The lot is approximately 9/10 of an acre and is located in Arteaga, just outside the city of Saltillo (capital of the state of Coahuila, est. pop. 700,000+). Being just outside of such a large city and located near one of the few main highways in Mexico, and, of course, located on the other side of Mexican customs, the property's location poses a strategic advantage for reaching other missionaries and works throughout all of Mexico.

We have signed a contract to purchase the property for $60,000. This contract is interest free until July 16, 2008, at which point the balance will be subject to 5% APR until it is completely paid. Our prayer is that the property will be completely paid for by this date. Please pray about making a contribution toward the purchase of the Saltillo property as well. Whatever amount is given would be tremendously appreciated. The property will be in the ministry's name, and will be used for a number of purposes in conjunction with DirectLine on the Stateside, including storing and distribution of materials to Independent Baptist works, in Mexico; a children's home; a Bible College with a focus in training future and current national pastors in church planting; Bible and pastors' conferences, and lodging for mission groups.

We are currently in the process of setting up a non-profit organization in Mexico. The non-profit status would allow us to take materials in duty free and not pay the 17% duty they normally charge.
