Home Church: Friendship Baptist Church Little Hocking, OH John's Testimony I was raised in a Christian home. As I grew up I could not remember receiving Jesus as my Saviour. My mother would remind me that I had been saved at the age of five. In April, 1980 I made sure of my salvation by asking the Lord to come into my heart and save me. Through the years the Lord has given me the privilege to be used in church ministries. Through missions conferences, other Christian friends and pastors I had the privilege to help missionaries with different needs. Throughout my life the Lord gave me the privilege to learn different trades and obtain a commercial drivers license.
Gloria's Testimony I was a teenager when I was saved. I had attended church all of my life but, never understood my need of being saved from my sins. One of my friends invited me to go to church one Sunday evening. I knew the youth group was different. I just didn’t understand why they were different. Gradually between a interesting and exciting youth group and good Bible preaching. I began to understand my need of being saved from my sins. I was 17 when I accepted Jesus as my own personal Saviour. Right after this the Lord gave me my life verse Proverbs 3:5&6. |
I retired in May, 2008 and wanted to help with various needs in missions. The Lord lead me to missionary Paul Deem who in the founder and director of DirectLine Ministry. After meeting with Paul and spending time at the ministry location I felt the Lord leading this way. After praying and seeking the Lord’s will my wife and I moved from
