Timothy's Testimony

I was saved in 1991 in the Philippines. The Lord used the movie “Burning Hell” to awaken me to my need for salvation. It scared me to death. I did not want to go to hell, so that night I asked my parents to lead me to the Lord. That was the start of a wonderful relationship between me and my Lord. I was later baptized in Spencer, WV in a creek. 

My family and I were missionaries to the Philippines for seven years. We were also in Mexico for about two years before the Lord led us to start DirectLine Ministry. Living on the mission field gave us first hand experience in knowing how to help missionaries and their churches.

I had always dreamed of flying, so I got a job at a restaurant to pay for flying lessons. In two years, I received my pilot license and knew that it was time to quit my secular job and follow God’s will to work in full-time ministry. I wanted to make a difference for eternity, so I took two years of classes from my pastor, Vernon Snell. These Bible classes were a real blessing in preparing me for preaching the Word of God.

I plan to further my pilot training so I can fly supplies into Mexico and other countries as I work with DirectLine Ministry. I will also help with organizing our warehouse, shipping supplies to churches in other countries, picking up shoeboxes and other donations around the United States, and making frequent trips into Mexico. My wife and I are currently on deputation. We are also learning Spanish so we can be more of a blessing to the Spanish speaking countries we work with.

I have the blessing of working with DirectLine Ministry and proclaiming the gospel of my blessed Lord who has given me so much! Please pray for me that I would have boldness to preach His Word, and prosperity in serving with DirectLine Ministry.

Bethany's Testimony

When I was four years old, my parents told me that I prayed and received Christ, but I was too young to remember this experience. As a Junior in Bible college, I realized that I needed to be sure of my salvation. I went to my dorm supervisor and told her that I wanted to kneel down and ask Jesus to be my personal Saviour. I asked Jesus to forgive my sin and live in my heart. My baptism took place the following Sunday. It felt so good to finally be sure of my salvation. 

I grew up in a Christian home and attended a Christian school that was a ministry of my church, Gospel Baptist Church, in Torch, Ohio. After high school, I went to West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, California. I graduated in 2008 with a degree in elementary education. I enjoy working with children so I accepted a teaching position at a Christian school in Arizona. Teaching kindergarten was so much fun! I also taught a ladies class for high school girls.

Since I was a little girl, I always wanted to be a missionary. God finally opened the door to missions when I met my husband, Timothy. I am so excited about all that God is doing in DirectLine Ministry. When I married Timothy and started working with DirectLine Ministry, I knew God had given me the desires of my heart. It is a privilege to serve such a wonderful God!
